Paradise geldings excel in performance!

July 30th, 2008

Thee MaCadeParadise is so proud of the performance success of its geldings! The interdisciplinary capability of the straight Egyptian Arabian is proving itself through the athletes our program has produced. The geldings raised at Paradise are becoming stars in the open performance world, in disciplines English, Western, and in between!

Thee Desperado sons Thee MaCade (x *Masira) (left) and Thee Pilgram (x Bint Bint Omayma) completed a 500 mile endurance race, the Santa Fe Trail Race, in September 2007, with trainer Susan Thompson riding them on alternate days. MaCade is owned by Maiden Chase Arabians, and Pilgram is owned by Thompson. The team finished 2nd overall and was one of only 4 finishing teams, out of a starting group of 62 riders!

In 2006 and 2007, Thee MaCade also earned 2 Top Fives in 50 mile races. In 2008, he WON both the AHA Region 12 55 Mile Endurance Championship Race and the Sands Hill Stampede 55 Mile Endurance Race! The younger Pilgram has an individual Top Ten to his name, too.

Paradise is also represented by Al-Bashir MD (Thee Infidel x La Jolla Negro), already a jumping champion in Puerto Rico, and 4-year-old gelding Hidden Agenda (Alixir x Infidels Imaara), who is currently in training to be a competitive working cow horse!

Paradise has a selection of promising geldings available for purchase. If you’ve always dreamed of accomplishing your performance goals while also showing of the beauty of a straight Egyptian Arabian, let us know!
