On Saturday, May 17th, Paradise opened its doors to visitors interested in celebrating the finest Egyptian Arabian horses around! Nearly 100 people and a radio station came to Paradise’s 2nd Annual Egyptian Day in May, held in conjunction with The Pyramid Society, on a beautiful, sunny day. Paradise invited experts in performance including English trainer Christine Johnston and endurance trainer and champion Susan Thompson, who has ridden to her major victories on Egyptian Arabians purchased from Paradise (above, champion gelding Thee MaCade)! J-103, a station out of nearby Chattanooga, provided a mobile broadcast for the afternoon from Paradise’s brand-new covered arena.

Guests enjoyed a picnic lunch and a presentation of Paradise’s 2008 Egyptian Event show string, as well as the chance to interact with some of Paradise’s newest residents, 4 exquisite young fillies sired by The Singleton (above, 2008 bay filly out of Respect Me).

Two of Paradise’s superstars, Scapa and Bint Al Riyahh, will be showing at the Event, fresh off of their buzz-creating performances in Vegas! Look for Paradise at Barn 7 during the 2008 Egyptian Event, and make plans to attend our May Day in 2009!
